Is that DOLPHIN laughing at ME??

The Great White
thanks to themeparkreview.com

SeaWorld is a name synonymous with San Antonio in the hearts and minds of young children, mostly because they just might get a stuffed representation of Shamu at the end of the day. SeaWorld is not just a glorified aquarium for kids and their parents anymore however but has added all sorts of exciting attractions for us who prefer a bit more adventure in our adventure parks.  SeaWorld San Antonio currently has 2 major roller coaster attractions, one being the Great White (pictured above) and the second named the Steel Eel. The Great White can boast the title of “Texas’ first inverted steel roller coaster” and rockets passengers up to 50mph through 5 different loops and barrel rolls. The Steel Eel is a different sort of coaster known as a hypercoaster, which aims to maximize weightlessness throughout its 2 minute 3700 foot journey. In addition to the two exciting roller coasters currently operational at SeaWorld there is a new “flying” coaster planned to be built known as the Manta, which would suspend riders on their stomachs to simulate the sensation of flying over the entire amusement park.  All in all SeaWorld may not be the most exciting thrill park I will visit in my life, but it is definitely worth the visit not only for their very well done rollercoasters but for the overall experience, which is thrilling in itself.
