Just a mile or so down 1604 off of 1-37 there is a place where trucks are big and roads are an afterthought. If you want to go and see something unlike you've ever seen before this is THE place to go. Crowds are rowdy and cheering as trucks with over 1000 horsepower tear down a drag racing track made entirely of mud. With eight different categories to race in you can be sure the excitement is fair and fun to witness. For a $30 entrance fee you can even take your own truck right on down and race yourself! For those participants who worry about staying safe rest easy in knowing there are extensive safety regulations for all racers from first timers to seasoned veterans. It is hard to describe this place in words; it is truly an experience that needs to be seen in person. With the bleachers shaking from the trucks, mud being sprayed everywhere and excited fans screaming for their favorite truck to pull through this is a un-miss able atmosphere for anyone who would claim to enjoy a thrill. I highly recommend heading down to the San Antonio MudDrag track at the nearest opportunity, the next scheduled race is this Friday October 23rd so fire up your 4x4s and git-r-done.
